ABOUT

In late 2007 RESET was registered as a Scottish charity by lecturers and alumni of the Graduate School of the Environment at the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT) in Wales. To ensure that RESET delivered the most appropriate, relevant and effective support to our built environment, (both UK and internationally), 2008 and 2009 was spent carefully developing our charitable model and gaining a greater understanding of how best RESET could be of service.

In 2010 RESET will be registered as a chairty in England & Wales with the following charitable objectives:

- provide built environment skills and knowledge for a changing climate through training, advocacy, facilitation and research

- expand the awareness of essential, low-energy, low-carbon concepts as widely as possible

- support communities to enhance the quality of their local built environment

RESET's mission is to deliver training and support knowledge sharing to increase resilience within our built environment, wherever it is most needed, particularly in areas facing severe climate change impacts, including with humanitarian and development organisations, communities and community based organisations, commercial and academic institutions.
