JOB DESCRIPTION:
During this internship, you will work with RESET and our UK partners Construction Skills, Schumacher College and the Centre for Alternative Technology, to help develop a UK Low Impact Building Materials construction training programme. The workign group aims to produce training standards to be adopted into the National Occupational Standards (NOS) with a prototype training programme for September 2012, plus visibility for these materials, standards and construction approaches.
We are looking for a dedicated individual with an interest in ecological construction materials, and an interest in ecology, biodiversity and the built environment sector for this internship at RESET, located in Hoxton, London.
This internship also allows individuals to participate in all areas of RESET training, as well as developing networks and knowledge within the UK.
PERSON REQUIREMENTS:
You will be interested in biodiversity and ecology, as well as supporting the development of sustainable built environments and are looking to work in a dynamic and innovative charity that prides itself on taking a stand on ecological adaptation of the built environment.
Good research skills
Good project management skills
Good communication skills
