Volunteering and Internships at RESET

Internship Management

RESET believes strongly that volunteers and interns should receive the very best mentorship and support during their voluntary placement.

We adhere to a Voluntary Code of Practice, based on the Internship Charter as recommended by the Chartered Institute of Professional Development, to ensure that each RESET intern receives the best quality of support and care during their voluntary work period.

RESET runs an internship programme of 2 - 4 month part-time placements at our London office in Hoxton Square, to support our work and offer recent graduates and professionals experience supporting the ecological adaptation of the built environment.

As we are currently a completely voluntary organisation, unfortunately we are unable to provide any financial support or personal expenses to interns at this time. All interships are unpaid, and are between 2 - 4 days per week. However, occasionally opportunities to arise through Vodaphone World of Difference and other programmes to apply for funding for individual posts. Do contact us if you would like to know more:

RESET Graduate Internships
RESET runs a rolling 8 week placement for you to gain further experience at an NGO working for the ecological adaptation of the built environment:
Graduate Internship
8 weeks, 4 days per week

RESET Training Officer Internship
provides the opportunity for you to gain experience in training events and workshops relating to ecological adaptation of the built environment, including organisation, promotion and delivery of training workshops and events:

RESET IHDC Officer
provides the opportunity for you to gain experience working on RESET's innovative UK design competition to prioritise biodiversity in the built environment:

RESET Communications Officer Internship
provides the opportunity for you to gain experience in communications, web content management and social networking and promotion in a charity working for the ecological adaptation of the built environment:

RESET Design Officer Internship 
provides the opportunity for you to gain experience in presenting RESET's work through its quarterly magazine, website and other visual media, in a charitycampaigning for the ecological adaptation of the built environment:

Research Internships:
Bangladesh Housing Internship
This internship provides the opportunity for you to gain experience in the international development sector. Work will primarily be focussed on supporting RESET's research and project work in a DFID-supported collaborative project in Bangladesh working with Practical Action Bangladesh and the Self-Help Promotion Network:

Supporting the development of the UK's Low Impact Building Materials National Training Standards, through research with RESET in association with Schumacher College and the Centre for Alternative Technology:
