The UK faces a low-carbon design challenge of a scale never seen before. How can we meet energy reduction targets in our building stock, let alone the zero carbon targets set for 2030?

This day-long course introduces participants to the concepts involved in Passivhaus design, through both refurbishment and new build.

Some of the UK’s foremost practitioners in this field present their work, through case studies of projects built and through research. There will be an opportunity for participants to raise detailed questions on design, implementation and assessment of Passivhaus projects and to share their own experiences.
